Sign of victory
On Tuesday 20th September, 2022 People's Democratic Party Students Alliance, Cross River State led by Comr. David Nakanda Edet, State Coordinator of the formidable Student group under the leadership of the Cross River State PDP paid a solidarity visit to Ntufam Ekpo Okon, Senatorial Candidate Southern District, Cross River State.
The State Coordinator in his speech congratulates the incoming Senator for emerging victorious in the just concluded PDP Senatorial Primaries. He officially introduce the formidable group stating the goals, objectives and measures the can partner together to ensure he wins the general election comes 2023 with huge votes alongside other candidates. He state that the entire student communities are ever ready to support and vote for him and the group shall move down to various wards and polling units to educate, sensitize, preach his positive deeds and shall give him swift feedback and reports.
Comr. Affiong Ernest, the Coordinator for Odukpani LGA, acknowledge the incoming Senator as a father who believe in human empowerment and through this he has raised many from grass to grace and grace to grace simultaneously. She reaffirm saying "no man can stop your victory, that your good works shall continue to speak". Comr. Affiong Ernest added that door to door sensitization in streets and wards in Odukpani shall kick start once INEC gives go ahead.
Comr. Drake Atimbang, Coordinator, College of Education, Akamkpa pledge full allegiance to support the movement in College of Education, Akamkpa and Biase LGA. He volunteering donate is blogs and media handle for steady campaign and publicity throughout the election period.
The Senatorial Candidate in his speech encourage the group to keep the fire burning that age is not a barrier but capacity matters and consistency matters. He encourage more work should be done and he have been following activities of the group and was anticipating to know the engine forces behind. He feels delighted to know his vibrant young minds who wish well for Cross River State. Ntufam Ekpo Okon added by saying he believe in better education, economic and infrastructural growth, security of life and property, sincere environment, payment of subvention to Student and youth Organization in the Senatorial District, enrollment of skills and empowerment programmes. In addition, "I won't be a Senator to Abuja resident, instate I will be a Senator to my people, for my people and with my people". I promise to be part and parcel in all activities organized by PDP Student Alliance and shall be part when we assume office.
The State Coordinator On behalf of entire Students of the group donates some flex banner to the campaign organization as little commitment for a start, promising and ready to do more subsequently.
